If there are no fill or drain hoses, pumps or connectors, how does one fill, drain and clean The Pedicute?
The Pedicute utilizes a durable plastic tub with a recyclable plastic liner. The tub supports the liner allowing one to easily carry the tub to a nearby sink for filling. It’s that simple! To clean, dispose of the water and place a new and sanitary liner into the tub and you’re all set. (Check with your particular State Board for specific cleaning and/or sanitizing requirements that may apply) |

When selecting the highest heat option, the surface of the base unit will reach approximately 205 degrees F in five (5) minutes. This will maintain water temperature at 95-98 degrees F.
When a dry, heat only massage is desired (lowest heat setting), the surface of the base unit will be 100-105 degrees F. Caution! If utilizing the dry, heat only massage, use ONLY the lowest heat setting.

What should I use to clean and/or maintain the wood and foam foot rest surfaces?
Great care has been taken to ensure both wood and foot rest surfaces are protected against various harsh chemicals that may be present during a pedicure. While these surfaces are not acetone proof, they are certainly acetone and nail polish resistant. If acetone or nail polish comes in contact with these surfaces, wipe off immediately. This will help immensely in preventing any permanent damage. One may also choose to protect the foam foot rests with a clean towel for each and every pedicure.
As far as cleaning the wood surfaces, use any good grade furniture polish on a once a month basis and the wood will look great for years to come. Use a mild detergent on the foam foot rests to keep them looking like new. If necessary, replacement foot rests are available from Continuum Footspas.
To clean the surface of the Heater/Massage Unit (ex. after a “dry” heat only massage), simply wipe down with any household cleaner or rubbing alcohol. Most disinfecting sprays may be used as well.
